The UAE Cabinet, chaired by H. H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, adopted the National Strategy for Wellbeing 2031. The strategy aims to make the UAE a world leader in wellbeing through a number of strategic objectives and initiatives highlighting the UAE government to focus on citizen’s wellbeing.

The National Strategy for Wellbeing 2031 includes a number of supporting initiatives targeting more than 40 priority areas. One of the most important initiatives is the launch of the Wellbeing Academy, which aims to:

Develop general and specialized training programs for wellbeing in the government.
Train government employees on the principles of wellbeing.
Design a specialized mechanism for lifelong learning.

The Wellbeing Academy focuses on defining the concept of wellbeing and integrating it in the government, in addition to promoting personal wellbeing, and wellbeing in the workplace.
